Over the years Nathaniel spent most of his time in college to earn several degrees. He had also researched and mastered precognition intuition. Upon his studies, he discovers a new ability that allows him to view the events of another person's past and future through eye-to-eye contact. The only downside is he is unable to see anybody that has been deceased. Furthermore, Nathaniel is only limited to what he can see in the future of others. The max is two days and no more. Now as for the past, he can view their whole life within seconds.

Receiving the knowledge of another person's life can bring internal pain to Nathaniel. It’s like a needle shot to the head. The more people he tries to view the more suffering he’ll get in return. The way he suppresses his power is by wearing a pair of black shades, but these aren't your average type of glasses. These were specifically designed for Nathaniel by one of his professors at the college. The glasses disabled him from visualizing another person’s memory, keeping the strain of pain minimal.

At the age of twenty-three, Nathaniel eventually graduated from college and moved to New York City, shortly changing his first name to his middle name (Spade) due to family history. Not many of his friends were as dependent as him, so Spade let them go. Finding love was very complicated considering he could see their future.

When Destiny became the new militia on Tegnora in the year of 1982, Nathaniel wanted to be a part of something as big as them. The FCPD (Fault City Police Department) recruited Nathaniel but then downgraded him to the police department in New York City, even after he successfully passed all the tests and exams. The department assumed he still wasn’t ready to join their force so they challenged him.

Roughly, over two hundred missing person cases were solved by Nathaniel within two years. His chance to become a detective was hardly close. In 2018, Oliver Stelle an outstanding detective was appointed with Nathaniel. The unsolvable cases developed as their new agenda. The next following year he finally reached the level of promotion once the crime rate dropped erratically. So, Nathaniel reapplied for a position at the FCPD and was surprisingly accepted. As a detective in Fault City, there were rarely any crimes and murder cases, therefore the department transferred him to OE (Other Earth).

There’s Only One Past

For the past twenty years, Spade built an outstanding reputation to become the number one best detective in the Other Earth Police Department (OEPD). Shortly after discovering an underground black market Spade offered to assist criminals with gun-running and drug trades. Several amounts of Drug Kingpins requested that Spade could escort narcotics throughout Las Vegas. This was Spade's way of making more money on the side other than being a detective.

No matter who or what the organization was, Spade gained a lot of enemies if they were involved in one of his cases. The mercenary, known as No Mask, would assist him with complicated events during drug trafficking. No Mask was a friend and foe to Spade even though he was wanted for a series of crimes he had committed but Spade used No Mask as a person of interest. In time, as crime increased in illegal activities, Kevin Stelle aka Mercer Light, a private investigator was assigned a case to investigate into “The Best Detective.” The following weeks passed by and Spade became aware of some suspicions and threatened to release Kevin's secret identity unless he helped frame arrest No Mask after a wrongful double-cross.

Nathaniel’s most treasured weapon was his Silverback Pistol, which consists of a special rocky metal material that makes the gun very adjustable to the hand. From here and there Spade learned simple hand-to-hand combat techniques just in case a fight along the way of crime were to break out. Viewing other people's past and future events was always a way for Nathaniel to guide himself through all the chaos. He became exceptionally well at it that his future was left unattended. There is still no telling why he isn’t able to picture his own fate.
